Based in Merseyside in the North West of England, my local area includes Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire and North Wales, also often working in London, Edinburgh and the West Midlands. As a specialist location photographer, I carry out commissioned commercial, lifestyle, live event, editorial, public relations, architectural and aerial photographic assignments for corporate, publishing, advertising and marketing clients throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. All aerial and commercial photography is produced using state-of-the-art digital camera equipment and a fully digital image workflow, and the Lightbox Network online image asset management system is utilised to manage and distribute photographic images.

We also have extensive picture archives of aerial images covering North West England and Wales, available for publication. As well as operating all over the United Kingdom from our home base at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester, and other airfields throughout the UK, I also operate all over Europe. We are currently working on projects in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, and have extensive contacts in the aviation industry in all major European countries.

We specialise in location lifestyle photography for advertising and marketing projects, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. We have carried out lifestyle photographic projects in Spain and Scotland for Scottish & Newcastle plc for brands including Kronenbourg, Strongbow, Fosters, Bulmers, and Jacques, organising all logistics, transport, model booking, stylists, travel and location research.

Architectural Photography for Construction, Local Authorities, CGI Studios, & Property Developers

We use the Nikkor 24mm PC-E Perspective Control lens for architectural photography, specifically designed to replicate some of the technical features of large format cameras, to enable DSLR cameras to utilise lens movements to assist in retaining correct perspective when photographing buildings, specifically to retain upright verticals. This lens transforms what is possible in architectural photography with a DSLR, and does provide a genuine solution to the problem of retaining correct perspective without using a technical large-format view camera.
